Why this Christmas?
As we head into our 5th Christmas season for Boston Dream Center. I feel a sense of urgency as never before to do all that we can do - - to wrap our arms around as many people as we can to show the very tangible love of God this year.
Things in our world have probably never felt stranger and perhaps never darker in some ways.
But what an opportunity we have to bring the light into that darkness.
We will reach more than 2000 people across all of our outreaches this Christmas. But we have a particular focus on two of our outreaches.
Christmas Family Celebration - On Saturday December 15th we will host our 5th annual Christmas Family Celebration in the Charlestown Housing projects. With breakfast, games, activities and of course -- Gifts! We will have a wrapped shoe box filled with gifts for each child that attends. Expecting to reach hundreds of children and their parents.
Christmas in the Commons - On Christmas Eve, December 24th we will host our 5th Annual Christmas in the Commons Celebration. We host this event to provide wrapped Christmas gifts for men and women who are homeless. Each person will receive several wrapped gifts, as well as food, Christmas music , prayer and ministry time. Plan to reach 300-500 people.
This year for every donation of $30 we will provide a gift to either a child (Christmas Family Celebration) or a gift to a man or woman who is experiencing homelessness (Christmas in the Commons).
Your gift of $150 will provide gifts for 5 people
Your gift of $300 will provide gifts for 10 people
Your gift of $600 will provide for $20 people
